The date February 22, 2020 is special because it contains as many as five twos. And this is not just a funny coincidence of numbers — perhaps this day was called fatal and turning point for all mankind by the famous soothsayer Vanga.
Vanga herself died in 1996, but her prophecy about the Day of Five Twos (that's what she called this date) became known only recently. Vanga's relatives say that she asked not to disclose some of her predictions until the year of the white metal rat (that is, this year, 2020).
Vanga's prediction about the day of five twos was published by relatives of the soothsayer — her godfather journalist Sergei Kostanay, personal translators Stoyan Petrov and Todorov, as well as her nephew Ognin Stoynov. They took part in a program on Channel One, where they made scandalous statements and were tested on a lie detector.
During the broadcast of Vanga's godfather, journalist Sergei Kostanay said that the soothsayer named February 22, 2020 as a fateful date. He literally conveyed Vanga's words about the day of five twos: “We must go through the day with all twos. The ash will cover the ground, the water will overflow…”

According to personal interpreter Vanga Stoyan Petrov, she linked the date on which five twos will meet with the return of a “forgotten disease” that will affect all of humanity. Wang did not specify the source of the disease, but only said that it will appear “in the South”, spread throughout the Earth, and will be associated with increased solar activity. Hundreds of millions of people can die from the infection.
Todor Todorov, Vanga's translator, also conveyed her words, translated from Bulgarian: “When the year of the mirror comes, the problem will come from yellow.” At first, it was assumed that this was an epidemic of jaundice. However, it is now becoming obvious that Wanga was talking about people with yellow skin color. Many people now believe that the famous soothsayer predicted the current coronavirus epidemic that broke out in China and is gradually spreading to the whole world.
Can coronavirus be considered a neglected disease? In a way, yeah. The virus was discovered in 1965, and since then it has provoked only two outbreaks with relatively few infections and deaths (8.5 thousand infected in 2002-2003, and just over 1 thousand infected in 2013- 2015). Therefore, scientists showed little interest in developing vaccines against it before the current outbreak of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus. Thus, humanity was not prepared for the modern epidemic. At the moment, more than 80,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus, and this figure continues to grow.

According to Sergey Kostanay, Vanga predicted the collision of an asteroid with the Earth, precisely on day five twos. Kostanay accurately quoted Vanga's words: “Shortly before the day of five twos, black ash will cover the Earth and cover the Sun, rivers will overflow, vast territories will disappear from the face of the earth, and the living will envy dead.” Vanga's more accurate prediction was also released: “A large body will fly to Earth and hit the water. The waves will wash away many countries, and the Sun will go out for three years… The good ones will survive, and the evil ones who think they are smart will die. A lot of people are going to die. And then there will be a very good life and immortality will come.” Wang gave this message to Kostanay a year before her death, in 1995.
Vanga's words could be attributed to the wild imagination of an elderly woman. However, the fact is that a large asteroid called 2002 PZ39 is actually approaching Earth right now. This is actually a huge rock just under 1 km in diameter, moving at a speed of 15 kilometers per second. The asteroid will fly at a distance of 5.76 million km from Earth, and NASA experts have already recognized it as potentially dangerous. Moreover, the point of maximum approach to our planet PZ39 will take place on February 15, 2020, that is, just a week before Day Five Twos.
Vanga predicted the consequences of the asteroid's fall to Earth quite accurately. According to scientific data, if such a large meteorite falls, strong earthquakes will occur primarily all over the planet, and giant tsunamis will hit the shores, which will lead to millions of victims. In addition, as a result of the fall of a large meteorite, an ash cloud will inevitably rise into the atmosphere, which for some time will prevent sunlight from reaching the Earth's surface, which will lead to to plant extinction and starvation.
According to Denis Denisenko, a well-known Russian astronomer, on December 22, 2020, the planets Jupiter and Saturn will get closer to each other. This phenomenon, observed once every 20 years, can affect changes in the orbits of asteroids, most of which are concentrated in the asteroid belt near Jupiter. In addition, the scientist admitted that most meteorites fall to Earth in February.

It should be noted that the day of five twos, according to Wanga, can be one of two days — either February 22, 2020 or December 22, 2020. The soothsayer also claimed that not only these days, but also the whole of 2020 will be a “turning point” for humanity. Vanga's translator published her following message: “Technological progress will be so rapid that humanity will lose control over it. If people don't come to their senses, this may be their last year.”
Many people interpret these words by Vanga as a prediction of the Third World War, which, like the First World War, may begin by accident.

February 22, 2020 is not the first day of five twos in the 21st century. In fact, there were already four. It is easy to calculate that the first such day is February 22, 2002. And in the 20th century, the last day of five twos was almost 100 years ago — December 22, 1922.
The February 22, 2020 date has another noteworthy feature. As you know, in Western countries, when recording dates, they first indicate the month, and then the date. Therefore, in Western format, this date, if the year is briefly recorded, will be mirrored: 02.22.20.
An interesting fact! Mirrored dates (palindromes), which are read equally from left to right and right to left, are extremely rare. When recording this year's classic date, palindrome day was February 2 (02.02.2020) (read more here). The next mirror date will be February 12, 21 (February 12, 2021).
