Our solar system is an amazing place, and every day we learn something new about it and our place in the vast universe.

However, there are theories that much of what is known about her is hidden from ordinary people and is kept secret by various organizations.

Space is a fantastic place and maybe there's something going on there that we don't need to know about?

Here are a few conspiracy theories related to our solar system.

1. The Lucifer Project

In 2001, a space odyssey, extraterrestrial beings use strange technology to turn Jupiter into a second Sun named Lucifer. The idea is that the second Sun will be of the right size and temperature for the satellites surrounding it to be habitable. This way you can create a place for alien life or new planets to colonize.

There is a theory that NASA has already tried and will continue to implement the Lucifer project.

They believe that the mission to protect Jupiter's moons is a Lucifer project. Spacecraft use the radioactive substance plutonium-238 as fuel. A few years ago, a spacecraft was dropped on Jupiter to protect satellites from microorganisms from Earth.

Conspiracy theorists, however, believe that this was done to test whether we could use radioactive cargo to turn Jupiter into a star and implement the Lucifer project.

2. Velikovsky's theory in the book “The Clash of Worlds”

Immanuel Velikovsky wrote a book in which he theorized that everything described in the Bible actually happened, but was caused by celestial bodies. For example, he believed that Mars and Venus caused many cataclysms when they passed near our planet.

According to one statement, Venus rotates in the opposite direction and is not a normal member of the solar system. Its collision with Earth caused the catastrophes described in the Old Testament.

3. The failed Phobos Grunt mission to Mars

A few years ago, Russia tried to send the Phobos-Grunt spacecraft to Mars. The spacecraft was supposed to go to Mars as soon as it reached Earth's low Earth orbit. Stations on Earth tried to make contact with the device, but received only chaotic data. In the end, it all ended in the death of Phobos-Grunt.

There were those who thought it was all to blame for the curse on Mars, which is why so many missions to Mars fail.

However, there was also a theory that an American project to study the ionosphere and aurora, known as HAARP, prevented Phobos-Grunt from leaving the atmosphere.

4. A hexagon at Saturn's pole

In 2007, NASA released new images of Saturn taken by the Cassini spacecraft. The photo showed a huge hexagon at the planet's north pole. Its size was quite impressive: it could fit 4 planets Earth.

Scientists could not explain the appearance of the hexagon, but there were those who made their own assumptions.

Some people have studied the photos of the Eye of Saturn in detail and noticed geometric shapes: a pyramid and two concentric circles, which led to the theory that there is a force in the center of the “eye”.

For example, the same “eye” can be seen on the back side of the dollar, which led supporters of this theory to believe that the hexagon was designed.

5. The first human landing on the moon

One of the most famous conspiracy theories is that humans did not land on the moon, and the first photographs of the landing in 1969 were falsified.

Supporters claim that there are many contradictions in the filming that demonstrate how impossible the landing was. In particular, light, atmospheric phenomena and other oddities indicate that everything was filmed not on the moon, but on the set.

It is also believed that people may have landed, but the videos were falsified for propaganda purposes. In addition, there is a theory that alien life has been seen on the moon, but the authorities are covering it up.

6. Hubble Space Telescope

Another little-known theory about the moon landing is the idea that it could easily be proved if the government wanted to.

As you know, the Hubble telescope was launched into space, which is capable of taking photos of distant galaxies. Thus, it would not be difficult to send it to the moon and photograph all the rovers that landed on the satellite. However, this was not done, which raises even more suspicions about the reality of the moon landings.

Some astronomers claim that the Hubble telescope was designed to take images at long distances, and it will be difficult to distinguish it from any other point.

7. The probe lands on the Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet

Most recently, the first successful landing of the Philae lander on the Churyumov-Gerasimenko comet was made. However, the European Space Agency said that strange sounds were heard from the comet during the mission.

According to conspiracy theory, the mission wasn't actually to a comet, but to an alien artifact. Others have suggested that it was a tower support, and the photos show UFOs in the background, but all this is hidden by the powerful.

8. Climate change in the solar system

Many people believe that the climate is changing naturally, not because of people's actions. But there are also those who believe that climate change is happening because global warming is happening throughout the solar system. They point to signs of climate change on Mars, Jupiter, and other planets.

This means that global warming is not happening on Earth, but getting hotter all over the solar system.

9. The colonization of Mars

Some believe that people's only hope is to colonize Mars. We've been sending rovers there for years to see if life could or could exist there. There is also more and more talk about a manned mission to the Red Planet.

But there are people who are convinced that people have been to Mars a long time ago and founded a colony there. In 2014, a woman who identified herself as Jackie said she worked for NASA and saw evidence that Mars has colonies.

According to her story, she helped land Viking spacecraft on Mars and saw two figures approaching the spacecraft. However, at this point, communication was interrupted, and when she tried to run to the room to take a closer look at everything, the doors were locked.

The woman claims that either they were aliens or people from Earth.

10. UFOs over planet Earth

In January, NASA interrupted Earth's live broadcast from the ISS at a time when a mysterious UFO-like object appeared over our planet.

The agency said that there were technical problems, which raised some suspicions.

There are theories that the interrupted live broadcast was an attempt to hide an alien ship, one of many that constantly come close to Earth's orbit. NASA did not comment on the event.
