Women who take birth control pills, while looking for a couple, end up finding a faithful partner with whom they later establish a long-term relationship. This fact was proved by a group of scientists from the British University of Sterling under the leadership of Craig Roberts.
Scientists analyzed the condition of 1,000 women who took birth control pills when they met their partner and 1,500 women who did not use oral contraception. Each of the participants in the experiment had at least one child with this partner.
During the study, scientists assessed how satisfied women are with their sex life and how satisfied they are with the overall relationship (taking into account the partner's loyalty and financial support from his partner sides). In addition, experts were interested in how long the participants in the experiment had or did their relationship with a partner last or last.
It turned out that women who take oral contraceptives are less satisfied with intimate relationships. However, it has been found that women who drink birth control pills are more satisfied with relationships overall. In addition, couples who formed while the woman was drinking hormone pills were more stable and their relationships lasted or are longer lasting.
There is a simple explanation for this phenomenon. Birth control pills create hormonal levels in a woman's body, similar to those of pregnant women. Thus, they “trick” the body into “thinking” that the woman is in position. And since a woman is already “pregnant”, then there is no point in maturing a new egg, so new eggs do not ripen, so a woman does not become pregnant while taking hormonal pills .
Being “pregnant”, a woman is subconsciously looking for a man who could support her and her unborn child. Yes, all women want their partner to be loyal, however, a woman whose hormonal background corresponds to a “non-pregnant” state, when choosing a partner, is mainly guided by his appearance and sexual attractiveness. Often, a man's sexual attractiveness is associated with infidelity. Women whose bodies do not experience hormonal surges associated with different stages of the menstrual cycle are interested in completely different traits and, as a result, find a more faithful partner.
