Unbelievable facts

Millions of girls around the world admire Disney princesses, whose images are so beautiful that they want to imitate them and want to be like them.

As a rule, animated beauties have unusual standards of appearance. Most Disney princesses are characterized by plump lips, gorgeous hair, huge eyes, and impossible body proportions.

Disney heroines

Sleeping Beauty, Princess Jasmine, and beautiful Rapunzel won the hearts of viewers from all over the world and have become unique standards of female beauty in reality.

Thanks to the skills of Ryan Astamendi, an American photographer and character artist at Walt Disney Pictures, the beauty of famous cartoon characters has been brought to life.

The artist brought the images of beauties to real life. Everyone was able to visit the exhibition and see with the naked eye the similarities between real women and Disney characters.

Cartoon heroines

1. Princess from the cartoon “Beauty and the Beast”

Holly Madison, the ex-girlfriend of American show business star Hugh Hefner, is surprisingly similar to the heroine of the famous cartoon.

2. Princess Jasmine

The cartoon “Aladdin” was released on the big screen back in 1992. The audience was amazed by an oriental beauty with incredible body proportions: a narrow waist and lush hair left few people indifferent. Astamendi found a girl who looked like Jasmine, with a narrow waist and a burning black shock of hair.

3. Rapunzel

Who doesn't remember the famous phrase, “Rapunzel, let your hair loose?” For his exhibition, Astemedi found a blond beauty, surprisingly reminiscent of the heroine of the famous cartoon.

4. Snow white

This is probably the most famous beauty. The artist was able to find the owner of surprisingly white skin, peach-tinged cheeks, lush pink lips and black curls. The girl really looks like two drops of water like the famous cartoon princess.

5. Pocahontas

In 1995, the whole world recognized the Indian beauty. It should be added that this was the first movie released by Walt Disney Pictures based on real characters. An Indian woman named Pocahontas actually existed.

6. Princess Aurora

Princess Aurora, better known to viewers as Sleeping Beauty, can be recognized by her pink dress and blond hair. The artist found a girl who looks like a princess who has the same hair, blue eyes and an identical eyebrow arch.

7. Jessica Rabit

The famous red-haired girlfriend Roger Rabbit also found a copy in real life. The girl, indeed, looks and mannerly resembles bright and relaxed Jessica.

The Californian photographer has succeeded in the almost impossible: he has conveyed images of Disney beauties so realistically that looking at them, it seems that, in front of you, are really the very heroines whom each of us has fallen in love since childhood.

Astemendi “copied” the images in detail. The artist not only found similar girls, but also paid attention to every detail in their image. Hairstyle, outfit, makeup tones — all these elements helped ordinary beauties transform into heroines of famous cartoons.

Visitors to Disney theme parks in the US or Paris may have seen real-life princesses in the flesh. However, this is the first time a photographer has recreated princesses in such meticulous detail.

Astamendi, who has been working for the past 18 years as a character artist for the Walt Disney Company, says he was inspired by Disney animation from an early age. So when young Ryan was lucky enough to get a job at Walt Disney Pictures, he considered it a major success in life and was very enthusiastic about creating animated images.

According to the artist himself, the images of princesses are his favorite. He simply called his new project, loved by many, “The Princess Series”. According to Astamendi, only two elements are needed for his work to be successful: the perfect model and the perfect dress.
