Unbelievable facts
A user of the social site Reddit posted a photo of a dresser whose color caused controversy among Internet users.
After an image of a blue, black and white and gold dress that went around the net several years ago, people are faced with a new dilemma.

This time, the bone of contention is a dresser that seems white and pink to some people and blue-gray to others.
Unlike the dress, which many have seen in two basic colors – blue and gold, many people look at the dresser and see different shades of white, pink, gray and blue.

A photo of the dresser was posted by a user under the nickname agamiegamer on Reddit.
The rest of the users were slightly discouraged by the fact that someone saw shades of gray and sea waves.
One of them wrote:
To be honest, without trolling, I see pink and white, and a friend of mine standing next to me says it's mint-grey. What's the deal?
User SleepyMaya also gave his opinion:
Are you sure? Is this in your house? Do you have this photo with different lighting? It's hard for me to believe this is a pink and white dresser.
Many also noted that it could really be a matter of lighting.
User Romero noted:
Yes, these are the colors, but reddish light adds a touch of pink, painting over the unsaturated gray and softening the cool blue color, which makes it appear white.

There were also users who paid attention not to the color of the dresser, but to the inverted handles of the dresser in the photo. One of them wrote:
The second pen on the upper middle shelf gives me a “fad”, but I see pink and blue.
A similar dispute arose several years ago, when netizens tried to understand what color sneakers were: gray-blue or white-pink.

One user suggested an interesting theory to explain why people see different colors in the same image.
According to the theory, people who have a dominant right brain are more likely to see a combination of pink and white, while those with a dominant left hemisphere see shades of gray and blue.
