Local Motors has developed a revolutionary car called Strati.
The most interesting thing is that the car was built using a 3D printer.
For the first time in history, the car body and chassis were “printed” on a 3D printer.
What makes Strati different from other cars is the time it takes to build it and its profitability.
It takes only 44 hours to build this car. The body and chassis are made of acrylonitrile plastic reinforced with carbon fiber.
The car consists of about 50 parts, which is not enough when compared to conventional cars, which consist of thousands of parts.

The car costs about $18,000 and is going to be released as early as 2016, predicting a revolution in the automotive industry of the future.
