Film genres and character
We choose film genres based on our character
The choice of film genres is quite extensive, so each of us can choose what we like. Research confirms that the choice of a film is determined by a person's character, age, gender and hobbies.
Although we often choose a movie to watch based on our mood, there are options that we like much more than others, or when choosing the genre or country of production, we will focus on movies of the same type.
It is believed that cinema replaces our lives somewhere, so people who love movies prefer to walk away from reality by watching movies. Those who do not like or watch movies at all can immerse themselves in the world of books or video games, but if this does not excite them too much, it means that in real life their world is saturated and they have enough of everything.
What can a selection of the following genres say about you:
A COMEDY. This movie genre is loved by almost everyone. Who doesn't love to laugh and cheer themselves up? But those who prefer comedy over any other movie are likely to be a fairly easy person with a simple character, a cheerful disposition, and a great sense of humor. However, if a person watches only cheap and vulgar comedies, most likely he is limited and stupid, sometimes even aggressive and scandalous!
HORROR, THRILLERS. This movie genre is quite specific; not everyone watches it. Moreover, there are people who never watch horror movies at all and those whose film collection contains only horror movies. Most likely, such people lack vivid emotions in real life, their lives are faded and boring, so they choose films that give them tension, fears, worries, and so on.
DETECTIVES. “Detectives” love riddles and puzzles, they are interested in thinking and unraveling what is hidden and incomprehensible. Usually these people are highly intelligent and are often also book lovers. They do not stop at difficulties and boldly go forward, being sure that everything will work out, because criminals are most often found and punished in detectives!

DRAMAS, MELODRAMAS AND WOMEN'S TV SHOWS. Most of the viewers of melodramas are women, and filmmakers are betting on them. Men are usually not very impressed by melodramas, except for a very good movie, and also if the film is not melodrama in its pure form. Usually, people who prefer such films to others really lack love experiences in life: their personal life is rather unsuccessful or boring.
MILITANTS. Unlike previous genres, this genre is generally preferred by men. And what is surprising, because it is action movies that show heroes, professionals, their best, and every man dreams of becoming in his heart. Action movies are often chosen by those who have a lack of confidence in their abilities in real life.
SCIENCE FICTION, MYSTERY, FANTASY, CARTOONS. Although slightly different, these film genres bring together people who are quite emotional, who are not always able to look at the world correctly and soberly, are easily addicted to something and believe in everything supernatural. Perhaps these people lack miracles in life, they are big children who did not have enough fairy tales as children or were not told enough to them.
