A mysterious sea creature, the size of a shipping container, washed ashore on a secluded beach in Indonesia, scaring locals.
The 15-meter monster himself, which shocked eyewitnesses with its size, died under unknown circumstances before it was found.

In order to remove the huge remains of the animal, it was necessary to call government troops.
The creature was discovered by local resident Asrul Tuanakota on Hulung Beach on Seram Island.
Specialists and locals were at first puzzled by the huge carcass that was first discovered at night.
Strange sea creature
Authorities later announced that these were the remains of a giant squid that had died three days earlier.
However, no one knows whether the animal died from natural causes or was killed by a larger creature.
Experts say that the maximum size of giant squid is 13 meters for females and 10 meters for males.

They are among the largest living organisms on Earth, but they are hunted by predatory sperm whales.
Monsters washed ashore
This isn't the first time a giant creature has been discovered in this area.
In February this year, a 20-meter sea “bubble” was found on the coast of the Dinagat Islands in the Philippines.
The creature, which was first mistaken for an alien, later turned out to be a whale carcass.
In 2015, a strange creature was spotted near Western Australia. It looked like a pink-and-white fleshy bubble floating on the surface of the water like an alien boat.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out that it was a gas-filled corpse of a whale.
