In a photo taken by the Curiosity rover on Mars, they noticed perhaps the strangest anomaly — the figure of a woman walking on the Red Planet.
The original photo, where a lonely figure was seen, can be seen on NASA's official website. By zooming in, you can take a closer look at the “strange woman”.
The photo shows what looks like a ghostly woman in a flying dress standing on a rock watching the Curiosity rover. Two arms and head are clearly visible.
The photo has been the subject of close attention by ufology sites, including areazone51ufos.blogspot.be and UFO Sightseeing Daily.
What did they find on Mars?
Scott Waring, editor of UFO Sightseeing Daily, noted that the woman is seen topless.
“It looks like the woman is partially covered. The woman has a chest, as indicated by the shadow. We also see two hands that are lighter in color and look like a head with long hair.”

Some users pointed out that her dress style is reminiscent of Minoan women's fashion. The ancient Minoans often depicted women in open-breasted dresses.
Waring also suggested that the picture might show a destroyed ancient statue, although this is unlikely.
“However, such a small statue would easily erode and collapse, so chances are high that it is a living thing,” he says.
The author also noticed that the woman is looking directly at the rover from afar.

Apparently, ufologists and conspiracy theorists consider Mars to be a fairly populated place. A few days ago, social media users noticed a strange creature on the Red Planet that looked like a crab, resembling a face tail from the movie “Alien”.

However, scientists insist that any anomalies seen in the photos of the rover are caused by a psychological phenomenon known as pareidolia — a tendency to perceive familiar figures in random forms.
