Unbelievable facts
We laugh at the role of silly characters in movies and theatrical productions.
However, none of us would want to be in the shoes of such a hero in real life. And it's much more unpleasant if your colleagues and colleagues think you're stupid.
Most of the time, if you think you're destined to be a fool, there's probably a simple explanation: either you're really acting like an idiot, or your colleagues are as such.
Here are some telltale signs that your colleagues at work think you're stupid:
They think I'm stupid
1. They argue with you all the time

Some people just love to challenge the public. Of course, if the argument is reasoned and your opponent makes reasonable arguments, this is a normal development of events.
But if you feel like you're being attacked and constantly nagged by some colleagues, that's not a good sign.
They may attack you because they see you as an easy target, they may try to suppress you to prove their own intelligence.

However, keep in mind that it is important to be able to differentiate between jokes and gross nit-picking and bullying by others.
This behavior by your colleagues may cause problems communicating with them. If it becomes repetitive and cyclical, it is a sure sign that you are not respected and considered stupid.
2. They're laconic and sarcastic towards you

It's not pleasant that people talk to you very dry and short. Communication like this could be a sign that your colleagues are underestimating your intelligence and thinking you're stupid.
If their answers tend to be short or sarcastic, they probably don't really appreciate your insight and ingenuity.
3. They use coarse sign language

Ridiculing, rolling your eyes, giggling behind your back all indicate that your colleagues think you're a very mediocre person.
If you notice this contemptuous sign language in your colleagues, it pretty much confirms that you're the target of workplace bullying.

4. They're ignoring you

No one wants to be an outcast in the team.
Feeling ignored and disregarded in the office is not a good sign. If your colleagues think you're stupid, they won't consult you about projects or work routines.
“We've been taught that ignoring someone isn't so bad. If you have nothing to say to a nice person, don't say anything at all,” says Sandra Robinson, a professor at the University of British Columbia Business School.
“But in fact, ignoring makes people feel more helpless, like they don't deserve any attention.”
5. They're laughing at you

Sometimes your coworkers laugh after you say something that isn't funny or funny at all.
Do you joke all the time? Be careful! If your colleagues appreciate your good sense of humor, that's great. However, you should not cross the line when you are considered just an office joke or a clown.
It's important to be able to recognize when your jokes are laughing at and when colleagues are making fun of you.

Do you all laugh at a witty joke together? Or is your office just an environment where people tease and humiliate each other?
“People who are humiliated tend to remain stunned and speechless,” Dr. Neil Burton writes for Psychology Today magazine.
6. They're surprised when you're successful at something

When you succeed, your colleagues are clearly surprised at your success.
Do you receive outright shock and surprised glances in response to your success? If this is the case, it is likely that your colleagues do not appreciate your abilities very highly.
7. They never ask you for help

Do you constantly offer your help to your colleagues and they refuse?
This might not be a good signal for you. It is possible that your intelligence and abilities are not being valued enough.
Your colleagues may think that your help will only make things worse.
8. They're refusing to help you

Or maybe, on the contrary, your colleagues are refusing to help you?
You ask for help and no one comes up to help you.
This could also be a bad signal. Perhaps your colleagues think your problem is too trivial and insignificant to waste their time on it.
9. You're too picky about yourself

Feeling foolish can lead to a vicious cycle.
If you think you're stupid, people around you may pick up self-critical vibrations, which in turn can lead others to think about you too.
So even if you're not sure about your own intelligence, at least make it look like you're confident.

10. You talk a lot about your impressive abilities

“The most foolish thing is to overestimate yourself,” said Balazs Aczel, a professor at the Department of Psychology at the Institute of Budapest.
You should not make yourself look more stupid and underestimate your abilities in the eyes of other people. However, there is no need to exaggerate your abilities and achievements. It also looks silly and ridiculous in the eyes of others.
Psychologists recommend learning how to perceive your abilities correctly and adequately.
11. You swear a lot at work

If you swear a lot in the workplace, use obscene language in your vocabulary, this does not make you look good in front of your colleagues.
As a rule, people who swear in normative words seem foolish and very superficial to others.
12. You're always afraid of looking stupid in someone's eyes

We are often so nervous about not knowing something and afraid of appearing incompetent that we won't ask our colleagues for help.
However, according to psychologists, people who seek advice, on the contrary, look more competent in the eyes of colleagues, at least in the eyes of those they turn to for help.
So next time you have questions about work, don't hesitate to ask your colleagues for help.
Believe me, as a result, a colleague will appreciate your intelligence, and not think bad things about you at all.
13. They lie to you regularly

Of course, some people are inherently just liars.
And in some cases, it probably won't be your fault if someone lies to you.
But if you feel that your colleagues are regularly being dishonest with you, lying to you, this may be a signal that you are considered stupid.
If your colleagues lie all the time and aren't embarrassed, they might just think you're so stupid that they think you can't tell the difference between truth and lies. They're not even trying to cover up this lie.
