Useful tips
Dreaming about a wedding
and being ready for marriage are very different things.
It takes a lot of thought to know if you're ready for family life.
Maybe you're just following generally accepted norms and don't want to lag behind your peers.
Or maybe you really want to create a strong and happy family with your partner. To see if you're ready for marriage, check these signs.
I want to marry
1. You know why you want to get married or get married

If your wedding photo shoot with guests and wedding paraphernalia posted on social media is all you want, then you should not dare to take such a step as marriage. Do you just want to get enthusiastic praise from your friends for your wedding dress and fancy wedding, or do you really want to spend a lifetime with your partner? Marriage and marriage are more than just an expensive holiday and a ring on your ring finger. Imagine that with this person you will be both sad and happy, sharing your shelter with him, while away your days in old age. What do you expect from your relationship? Think about it and answer these questions honestly.
2. You're planning a marriage, not a wedding

A wedding is a fun party, an opportunity to gather all friends and relatives at the same time. You want to be in the spotlight, to see how your friends look at your ring with envy. But none of this is a reason for marriage. Remember that a wedding lasts a few hours and a marriage is (ideally) permanent. Better think about your life together with your partner. You're not going to be in the spotlight all your life. Ordinary family days will come with their own routine responsibilities.
3. You already had your own life

Some marriages take place right after school. Many girls are in a hurry to wear a wedding ring not even out of great love, but out of fear of loneliness and financial difficulties. As a result, young people do not have time to live adulthood on their own. However, according to psychologists and sociologists, such marriages are a hasty decision. They advise you to wait at least until the age of 25. By this age, you are becoming more mature, and you can prioritize your life experience, albeit not rich. You've already had the opportunity to meet different people and you've already understood what you expect from your life and future partner.
4. You have a serious and deep relationship

Flirting, having fun together, and spending some nights together is also not a reason for marriage. You must have a deep relationship where you work together to solve problems and plan for the future. Do you know how to negotiate and discuss difficulties calmly? In addition to a sexual relationship, you must also have an emotional connection. Having fun and having sex is not the key to a successful marriage.

5. You trust your partner

Regardless of how long you and your partner have been together, you should know them very well. Even if you've been together for four years and you don't know anything about his past, that's no reason to get married. It is quite another matter when you trust each other with your innermost secrets, talk about your dreams and hopes. You have a good idea of his reaction to certain things. And you have full confidence in your partner. Remember that the main components of a relationship between spouses are trust, the ability to feel and understand each other. Without these components, there will be no long, happy and lasting union.
6. You don't want to change your partner

If you think your partner will change after getting married, that's not going to happen. Many hope that in life together they will be able to correct the shortcomings of a loved one. In fact, a person remains the same as before the wedding. It is extremely difficult to change an adult. So don't be under the illusion that after the wedding you will put everything in its place. Realistically imagine what your life together will be like, given what you already know about your future husband or future wife. If you don't want to change anything about your partner, you can also think about family.
7. You resolve conflicts together

The main mistakes in relationships are the inability to resolve conflicts together, the inability to compromise and give in to each other. Many couples break up, guided by their emotions and momentary desires. Therefore, before getting married, make sure that you are able to resolve problems and conflicts together. Do not try to insist on your own at all costs. The ability to make concessions is one of the most important things in living together.
8. You plan together

When your relationship is still in its infancy, last-minute changes of plans are common. Once you get into a serious relationship, you start to think about the long-term outlook. Your partner loves to travel the world. Will you accompany him, or would you prefer to stay at home and feel comfortable doing so. Maybe you have plans of your own. In any case, you discuss and plan together any changes and undertakings in life. Planning trips together or implementing ideas should become a common endeavor.
9. You listen to family and friends

When people fall in love, nothing matters to them anymore. They're literally dazzled by their passion. And you don't care what your family thinks about your chosen one. But after realizing deep and serious feelings, there is a revolution in consciousness. If all your loved ones are against your union, it probably means that there are good reasons. And you start to listen to their opinion. You know your family is interested in your happiness and you have no reason not to trust them.
10. You can't imagine your life without your partner

You feel boundless love and can't imagine living without this person or with anyone else. When you're around him, you're happy, you've accepted him as he is and you don't want to change anything about him. You are ready to compromise and take into account your partner's interests, tastes and characteristics. You know that your feelings are mutual and that this is the future parent of your children. Then you're really ready for marriage.

Any relationship should take it to a new level over time. Loving people come to a logical continuation of their relationship, register their marriage, and give birth to children. Of course, for a marriage to be happy, it's not enough just to build a solid foundation; you have to work on it from time to time. But that's another topic. Be happy.
