The statistics of oncological diseases today are extremely disappointing: for example, about 10 million cancer patients are detected worldwide every year, of which 8 million are unable to cope with this terrible disease.
There are several reasons for such a high mortality rate in cancer:
untimely detection of oncology due to the development of symptoms at late stages;
rapid progression of the oncological process;
high cost of high-quality and effective anticancer drugs.
And if malignant neoplasms are treated quite successfully in the early stages, then the diagnosis of “fourth degree cancer” is tantamount to a death sentence.
At this stage, the entire body is irreversibly damaged by malignant cells that grow, mutate and metastasize uncontrollably. Unfortunately, neither chemotherapy nor surgery can stop this irreversible process.
During this period, therapy is aimed at reducing the symptoms of cancer and maintaining the quality of life of the cancer patient at a decent level.
BUT! In world practice, there are cases of unexpected remission of grade 4 cancer. After collecting the anamnesis of such patients and analyzing their lifestyle, the general principles adhered to by patients at the terminal stage of cancer who achieved stable therapeutic remission were identified.
These are the principles we will discuss later.
Cancer nutrition

Toxins, which are formed, among other things, as a result of malnutrition, are primarily responsible for inhibiting the process of recovery and self-healing of the body.
By making the body work hard to get rid of toxins, we distract it from fighting cancer cells.
Therefore, cancer patients are advised to eat exclusively “clean” food:
raw fruits and vegetables;
green buckwheat;
berries;
nuts, but not more than 50 g per day;
leafy greens;
spinach;
cabbage;
honey.

Forbidden foods include:
meat;
sugar and sugar-containing foods;
dairy products;
refined grains;
coffee;
alcohol;
yeast;
chocolate.
But that's not all! There is a special cancer diet developed by Dutch oncologist Cornelius Moerman.
Moerman's diet for cancer

Some consider Moerman a charlatan, while others, while adhering to his diet, feel a surge of strength and energy, as well as an improvement in overall health in cancer. But one fact is undeniable: adhering to the nutritional principles below and leading a healthy lifestyle, Cornelius Moerman lived for 95 years.
The Moerman diet is designed to strengthen the immune system and stabilize metabolism, which will help bring a cancer patient into remission.
In any case, the patient should decide whether to eat according to Moerman or not, in collaboration with the doctor, bearing in mind that any initiative in the treatment of oncology may end tragically.
We will cite the main tenets of this diet. And let's start with the menu.
First breakfast
Freshly squeezed orange and lemon juice (citrus fruits are taken in a 2:1 ratio). A sandwich with butter and low-fat cheese, and bread must be made from wholemeal flour.
If you don't like this breakfast option, we offer another one consisting of oatmeal with fresh fruit and green tea. It is recommended to cook porridge with the addition of skim milk.
Second breakfast
A glass of beetroot and apple juice and fruit at the patient's discretion.
Lunch
A glass of skim milk with two raw beaten egg yolks, buttermilk with 250 ml of grapefruit juice, wholemeal crackers.
Buttermilk (or skim cream) is a by-product obtained when making butter from cow's milk.
supper
Pea soup (only whole peas are used), bread, fruits, vegetables, buttermilk and bioyoghurt without preservatives, flavors and colors.
Late dinner
Buttermilk with lemon juice. It is recommended to drink a glass of warm skim milk before going to bed.
The Moerman diet indicates the use of the following foods:
Raw or steamed vegetables.
Fruits: fruit and vegetable juices are particularly welcome, while sweet grape varieties, figs and dates will have to be discarded.
Cereals: bran, wheat and corn flakes, unpolished rice, pasta and wholemeal bread.
Low-fat dairy and dairy products.
Cold pressed olive oil.
Herbal decoctions.
Honey.
Iodized sea salt.
Egg yolks.

Forbidden Foods:

All types of legumes.
All products that contain finely ground wheat flour.
Meat.
Animal fats.
Mushrooms.
A fish.
Refined sugar.
Fatty milk and dairy products: margarine, whole milk, fatty cheese.
Egg white.
Refined vegetable oil.
Table salt.
Products with preservatives and colorants.
Alcoholic drinks.
Strong tea.
Coffee.
Moerman's diet also includes supplements containing vitamins and minerals.
And a few more simple rules of this anti-cancer diet:
Eat five meals a day.
Eat small meals while chewing your food thoroughly.
Don't overeat.
Eat only raw, boiled, baked or steamed foods.
It would not be fair to talk about Moerman's anti-cancer diet, but not to pay attention to another unique nutrition system that, according to patients, helps overcome oncology at later stages of development. We are talking about the method of Galina Shatalova, who, like Moerman, lived a long life — 95 years.
Medical nutrition according to Shatalova

Academician and Candidate of Medical Sciences Galina Sergeevna Shatalova adhered to vegan-raw food principles that exclude the use of “dead” and “useless” food, namely:
meat;
fish;
mushrooms;
flour products;
polished rice;
sugar;
dairy and dairy products;
starch.
You will also have to limit salt intake to 2 grams per day if you decide to follow this method of nutrition.
The academician considered pickled, dried, boiled, baked foods to be useless food, on the digestion of which the body spends a lot of effort and energy, getting almost nothing in return.
According to Shatalova, the basis of nutrition is vegetables that grow in the human area.
In addition, when drawing up a diet, it is recommended to take into account seasonality: for example, in spring, emphasis should be placed on herbs, in summer and autumn — on fruits and vegetables, in winter, cereals can be included in the menu and root vegetables.
Nutrition rules according to Shatalova
Minimum heat treatment of vegetables, grains and legumes for three minutes at a temperature not exceeding 100C.
Cooking is strictly for one meal.
Avoiding reheating cooked foods.
Mono-nutrition: it is recommended to eat one product in the amount of 350 to 450 g per meal.
The break between meals is at least 3 hours, if you can not give up meat, then the break is increased to 6 hours.
Drinking purified water separately from meals, and water should be drunk two hours after meals or 20 minutes before meals. It is strictly forbidden to drink food!
Two meals a day: breakfast no earlier than 11 am, and dinner no later than 6 pm.
Regardless of which diet you follow, you will have to follow it for at least a year, and ideally until the disease is permanently remission.
We have paid enough attention to nutrition, and therefore we will move on to other factors that help alleviate cancer.
Alternative cancer treatment

Many patients, having learned that they have the last (fourth) stage of cancer and disillusioned with traditional medicine methods, are looking for alternative ways to fight cancer.
Spiritual practices (yoga, qigong, Ayurveda) are becoming such paths. But where will they lead?
It is believed that spiritual practices not only cleanse the psyche, awaken the healing powers of the sick body and eliminate negative energy, but also help cancer patients to tolerate chemotherapy more easily.
But it is important to remember that spiritual practices can only be a supplement to traditional oncology treatment, but not used as monotherapy.

Positive attitude against cancer

It has been proven that happy people who think positively live longer than reserved and gloomy pessimists who are always dissatisfied with life. Fear, anger, irritation, loneliness, despondency and resentment can be an insurmountable barrier to recovery, regardless of whether it's cancer or any other disease.
It has been noted that the internal approach to recovery in cancer patients helps to enhance the effect of drugs.
Family support also plays an important role in treating and alleviating the condition of cancer patients. The feeling of joy and love contributes to the production of oxytocin, dopamine and endorphin — hormones of happiness that, when penetrating cancer cells, activate the mechanisms of fighting cancer.
Of course, it is unlikely that it will be possible to cure cancer at stage 4 by the power of thought, but it is quite possible to improve the patient's emotional background and quality of life.
Herbs for cancer

Patients who had an unexpected remission of grade 4 cancer took herbs, vitamins and dietary supplements. Can certain plants really help fight cancer cells? Or maybe the famous placebo effect also worked against the background of ongoing drug therapy? There is no exact answer to this question yet.
If certain herbs, spices or vitamin combinations help you feel better, then you should not stop using them. But at the same time, it should be remembered that it is impossible to cope with cancer without qualified help from oncologists!
Oncology is not a field of medicine where you can experiment and choose your own course of treatment, hoping for a miracle. In the presence of malignant tumors, it is important to strictly follow all the instructions of the attending physician if you want to heal or reduce the symptoms that poison the lives of patients diagnosed with cancer. And positive emotions and thoughts, good nutrition, self-confidence and recovery will definitely help with this!
